AT&T DSL - AT&T U-verse
AT&T offers two types of High Speed Internet service:
AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet
AT&T U-verse service is a combination of fiber-optic network and VDSL or VHDSL (Very High Bitrate DSL) that offer speeds higher than regular DSL, approximately 20-25 Mbit/s. The total speed depends on the distance between the fiber gateway and user end point, and is shared between multiple services that are offered through AT&T U-verse. U-verse is used for IP based TV (IPTV), Internet, and Voice (VoIP).
AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet Packages
U-verse High-Speed Internet can be purchased separately, as a single service, and is offered with download speeds of up to 18 Mbit/s. AT&T U-verse Internet is offered in five speed groups:
- U-verse Max18 - starting at $65
Downstream Speed - Up to 18 Mbps - U-verse Max - starting at $55
Downstream Speed - Up to 12 Mbps - U-verse Elite - starting at $35
Downstream Speed - Up to 6 Mbps - U-verse Pro - starting at $30
Downstream Speed - Up to 3 Mbps - U-verse Express - starting at $25
Downstream Speed - Up to 1.5 Mbps
AT&T U-verse is offered in 22 US states - AL, AR, CA, CT, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MO, MS, NC, NV, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, WI.
AT&T DSL High Speed Internet
If you opt for DSL, depending on your address, DSL High Speed Internet is available in two groups, as follows:
- AT&T DSL High-Speed Internet - 13 states - For residents of Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin.
- FastAccess DSL High-Speed Internet - 9 states - For residents of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
